Hardware and Software
Alliant Engineering provides in-house and on-site digitizing services utilizing cutting edge hardware and software. The combination of our Romer Infinite Arm and RevWorks provides fast, accurate digitized information for both small and large jobs.
Parametric Data
All data collected using the AE digitizing system is parametric. This is ideal when design changes are necessary. While laser scanning systems produce "point cloud" data, all data captured with the AE system is directly integrated into a parametric sketch. The end result is an accurate, light weight model that is easy to manipulate and modify.
On Demand Service
The need for digitizing is not always apparent until the last minute. Prototype vehicles or components are often only available for a very short window of time. For these reasons, AE has structured its digitizing service as a quick response, on demand service that will be on-site when you need the job done.
